Royal Cambridge Hotel Paddington

Good morning 🇬🇧  

Everytime i go to London, my preferred place to stay is at Paddington! Easy access to big train station, circle line & bakerloo line. 1 station away to Bayswater (Malaysian hall & halal foods area). For budget i can recommend Equity Hostel and for comfortable stay (but still in budget) i can recommend Royal Cambridge Hotel. If you have more money you can stay at Hilton which located in front of tube exit. 

This time around for my honeymoon, i choose to stay at Royal Cambridge Hotel in Paddington. Supporting local malaysian hotels business abroad! They got Halal breakfast and also Malaysian breakfast (upon request). Their room was awesome, clean and comfortable bed! Recommended to those who want to stay in the city.  

Last time i stayed at Equity hostel also the breakfast is provided. English breakfast. Breads eggs fresh orange juice. I even buat sandswish telor then pack in my small tupperware in case im hungry later Hahaha

Traveling to italy tips and tricks!

Some tips in Italy.

Italy was not in my bucket list at first (except for Venice! I need to go there before the whole city “tengelam”. But still haven't make it there yet! )

Florence 2x:

At san Lorenzo market you would have to choose carefully and walk till the end of the road stalls. Same thing with way different price. The front one will sell you with way expensive price. 

You can walk or take a bus to see the whole city from piazza Michelangelo. Its so nice up there to see the whole city! Definitely walking is the best thing to explore the city since you will go trough trinity bridge as well. 

Milan : The best thing in Milan for me is the GELATO!! cioccolati italiani. You will never regret! Milan doesn’t have much things to do. Except for shopping. You can climb up the Duomo. We take the stairs last time (regret) haha

Rome 2x: 

You can start nearby Colosseum. The on the way to Trevi you will find Rome is a beautiful city with ancient monuments and building. After Trevi you can have the best halal meal nearby, Luna Caprese. Souvenir is cheap around Trevi. Lastly, Walk your way till Vatican. Its a fun walk! You can finished Rome for sightseeing. If u going to museums might take some more time.

Turin: 

Beautiful city with amazing landscapes. We just transit here last time. But in the bus you can be amaze by its landscapes. Could be cuz its in the border of Paris n Swiss. 

Cinque Terre:

Colorful house on hill. They got 5 terre (village) this is in my bucket list since i saw Elle went there!! Over here the AIRBNB is awesome. But if u carrying luggage you gonna die here. Lots of stairsssssss!! 

Pisa:

Halal foods kebabs easy to find. The only best thing is the Pisa tower area. They also got market there. If u want to find cheap souvenir. 

**Italy is famous with pickpockets. Especially in Rome. But i almost kene in Florence. At the Duomo area. 😅

Itinerary for Muslim in Rome

Holla & Assalamualaikum,

Rome is a beautiful country dengan peninggalan roman empire once upon a time. But please take extra cautious terhadap pickpocket and scammer around the city. Memang masa dekat Rome kitaorg berjalan je. I've been in Rome 2 times already (2015 & 2017), So to know the city well, it's good if jalan kaki sebab boleh cuci mata tengok sekeliling. If nk naik metro, better take extra cautious okay! 

Itinerary for Rome in 1 day

1. Colosseum/Palatino/Forum - Price for entrance is €12 per person. The ticket cover all the 3 attraction. 9.40am is the underground tour starts
2. Il Vittoriano
3. Trevi Fountain
4. Luna Caprise - Halal food for lunch since dekat dgn trevi tu. serious sedap! ada set lunch. (refer bawah post ni)
5. Pantheon
6. Spanish Steps - banyak expensive brands kat sini juga selain tangga tu.
7. if rajin nak berjalan lagi boleh pergi ke Vatican city. St. Peter's Basilica,Vatican Museum/Sistine Chapel & St. Peter's Square. The Q to the museum is quite looooooong. So kalau nk masuk better beli online awal kot. 

Fridge magnet murah dekat Rome italy boleh dapat dekat area Trevi fountain tu. Paling murah rasanya 12 fridge magnet for €10. Same goes with keychain. Jalan menuju tu Luna Caprise tu banyak kedai souvenir yg jual lagi murah dari dekat depan Trevi tu. Macam mana nk pergi makan kt Luna Caprese? dia dalam 5 minute walk je dari Trevi. boleh google maps untuk ke sini. Dah dekat italy kene la makan specialty mereka kan! sini ade set lunch and boleh order pizza kebab and pasta makan sampai kenyang lepas tu food coma tak boleh bergerak. Haha 

Ini la kedainya. kecik je. Jgn terlepas sudah. hehe Bila nampak tanda halal muka bahagia tak terkata sbb dapat makan macam macam. yang penting sedap ok!

Qatar and Qatar Airways

Hello & Assalamualaikum everyone!

Recently ada news yg mengatakan UAE bergaduh with Qatar mengatakan bahawa qatar support terrorism/terrorist tanpa bukti kukuh. So mereka pulaukan Qatar. Even airspace pun mereka tak mahu kongsi. 

So masa isu ni berlaku risau juga sebab dah beli airline ticket to London with Qatar Airways. Masa tu dah fikir burn laaa ticket!! Risau gila. 

So when time comes, around November me and hubs pun bertolak with Qatar Airways KUL - DOH - LHR. Our observation while flying with Qatar, mereka terpaksa ambil jalan jauh sevab tak boleh masuk UAE airspace. Agak kelakar untuk isu ni, sbb kalau lalu abu dhabi tu jd dekat je. Tp mereka terpaksa lalu jalan jauh.

But, dalam masa kesihankan Qatar Airways, kami berjumpa dengan another Malaysian yang stay dekat Qatar, dorg kta ticket untuk balik Malaysia jd mahal sangat since hanya ada Qatar Airways je dekat situ. Airline lain tak masuk sgt Qatar. So QA mcm ambil peluang untuk mencekik juga kot. Tp boleh kata btul juga. Masa layover pun org tak ramai sgt kt airport and tak npk airline lain pun kt airport masa tu. Nampaknya gossip liar UAE sedikit banyak mencalarkan reputasi QA.
